my friend shri Cobra

There can be no real friendship for the nasty evil-minded person, says Chaankya in his 424th aphorism. This is further explained in the couplet attached which reads as " The evil person can never be of any help to you at any time because he is like a poisonous snake by nature. In the guise of offering help
(which may seem bona fide to start with) he can lead you only to permanent grief in the long run.

We encounter people who may pretend as well-wishers. Even the faint thought of some such beings can bring us misfortune. Hearing their voice over some media can do the trick in some unfortunate cases. And if they give us a darshan, visit our house or cast their eyes on something valuable, we are doomed. Verily even the earth they cover with their ominous feet would become barren for ever. If Mr. Cobra is my friend and he gives me a friendly visit and offers me all the help, I can be sure that my ticket for the next world is confirmed in no uncertain terms.

We have to marvel at God's creations. There are many creations like a venomous snake which can only wreak destruction even if their intentions may be, in theory, well meaning. But it is heartening to note that we human beings are all created with the inherent nature of benevolence and unless we forcibly inject venom to to our psyche, we are born  and remain to be noble and helpful to one another.
Let friendship prevail.
